Well, here he goes again, the pale reflection
of 'Dad', the working alcoholic, singing 'drunk'.
Cuz he has affinity and love for those lost,
impossible, sad-hearted drinking souls. This
is a song by Paul O'Neill, performed on tour
by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in which Jane
Mangini/Pitrelli (Berlin Airlift, The Movie,
Rome Is Burning...et al) plays 1st Piano and
her husband Al is 1st guitar and musical director.
They asked me t give the song, OLD CITY BAR
(from the CD Christmas Eve And Other Stories),
a shot. So I did and I filmed it and here it
is. If ya want t have a look. (btw - that's
Al playing guitar)
RESULT? I passed the audition, but didn't get
the gig. Contract written prior. But it was
one fun ride.
