MR. TUBBS - 55, a 60’s throwback hippie lunatic alcoholic

SARAH/REBECCA – early 20’s. Blind. FLINT’s daughter.

BOY/ISAAC - 12, an innocent kid who’s always getting into trouble

GIRL/BETSY - 13, an angry tattletale who spies on her peers

JUDGE FLINT – 45, the charismatic leader of the KINGDOM



KINGDOM MEMBERS (minimum cast):

SAMURAI BOY/MARINE/TOMMY – 19, angry, rebelious, ISAAC’s pal

SHIRRONDA – 30’s, x-hooker

MARIE – 50’s, skittish but pretends to be ok all the time

EMMANUEL – 50’s, tired, easily manipulated

MEMBER ‘THUGS’ - pug-faced FLINT henchmen



FULL CAST KINGDOM MEMBERS: - all ages, all races. They are refugees from urban life. They are living in the country, but wear city clothes, ill suited to their environment. The men and boys wear black; the women - white. Some have facial scars, some limp; others have the exhausted expressions of recovered drug addicts and alcoholics.
